Connect: Google Business Messages

To integrate our chatbot in your Google Business messages account, most of the process is done on our side.

From your side :

  • Please make sure that you have a Google My Business account.
  • Please enable messaging on your Google My Business account: Inside the Google My Business on the menu select Messages and click Turn on messaging.
  • After the CS team has completed the setup, you’ll receive two separate emails.
    • The first one with a security key, which you will have to use to reply to the second email. Do not reply to this email, is only informative

See the email you will receive below:

Hi [Your name],

Google notified you in a separate email that [Hijiffy’s team member] has requested permission to send messages on behalf of [Hotel Name] with Business Messages. When granting your approval, include the following security key to verify the authenticity of your message. Don't share this key with [Hijiffy’s team member] prior to granting your approval.

Security key: [SECURITY KEY]

Please don't reply to this email.

Business Messages

    • The second email to which you’ll need to reply with a text and with the security key you’ve received in the first email. 

See the email you will receive below:

Hi [Your name],

[Hijiffy’s team member] has requested permission to send messages on behalf of [Hotel Name] with Business Messages. When these messages are received by a user whose device supports Business Messages, they will appear along with the following business information:

    Name: [AGENT NAME]

    Logo: [LOGO URL]

    AgentId: [AGENT ID]

Your approval is required in order to:

    Validate the correctness of the information above.

    Confirm that [Hijiffy’s team member] has the right to send messages that represent your brand.

If you have any questions, contact us by replying to this email or reach out to [PARTNER NAME] at [PARTNER EMAIL].

Business Messages

  • To grant your approval, reply with the text in the box below and insert the security key which you will receive from bm-support@google.com in a separate email:

See the reply you should provide as a reply to the second email (please change the variables in bold)

“I, [name of brand employee] and [title of employee], grant [messaging_partner_name] the right to send Business Messages using the information specified in this email. Security key: [Google-provided security key from first email]”

After this is complete and your hotel is verified, we will reach out to you whenever the connection is complete and active.
