- You can add Telegram to the Console. This way you will be able to manage all conversations from this channel within the Console. Additionally, you can enable the chatbot to handle guest queries in Telegram.
- You can add as many Telegram accounts to the Console as you wish and add the chatbot to all of them.
Note: You must have an 'Admin' role in order to install new channels.
Add Telegram
To add the 'Telegram' channel to your Console:
- On the Console, go to Channels, expand the 'Telegram' section and click on 'Add new channel';
- Make sure that you are logged in to Telegram, then open this link: 'Create a Bot';
- Type:
/newbot - Follow the on-screen steps and copy the generated bot token;
- When finished, return to the Console and add a Name, Username and paste the bot token previously copied;
- Click on 'Validate and Continue';
- If you receive a success message, click 'Save' to finish.
