Chatbot type: Basic

The Basic chatbot operates using a rule-based system that provides answers exactly as written in the FAQ console. It responds by selecting the most relevant single FAQ entry and shows its configured content to the user.

Key Features:

  • The system is designed to focus on one FAQ topic at a time, ensuring clarity and precision in the responses provided. This means that when a user poses a question, the system will address only that specific query rather than attempting to handle multiple topics simultaneously.

    In terms of responses, the system utilizes a library of pre-set answers. These answers are formulated to provide reliable and consistent information, but they do not take into account individual user context or nuances in questions. As a result, users can expect straightforward answers that align with common inquiries.

    In cases where the system encounters uncertainty or cannot confidently provide an answer, it defaults to suggesting relevant FAQ buttons. This fallback mechanism allows users to explore additional resources and find information that may address their queries more thoroughly.

Example:

In the basic solution, as the chatbot is only triggering one FAQ at a time, it will provide only the answer to the first user question.
