      How to install the Mobile App

      Our Mobile APP is a Progressive Web APP that works exactly as any other app

      What is a Progressive Web App (PWA)?

      A Progressive Web App (PWA) is a type of application that is delivered through the web but functions much like a traditional mobile app. PWAs are designed to offer fast performance, work offline, and provide an app-like experience directly from your web browser. This means you don’t need to download them from an app store. Instead, you access them through the internet, just like you would a website.

      Key Benefits of PWAs

      • No Installation Required: Unlike traditional apps, PWAs don't need to be downloaded from an app store. You simply visit a website and can opt to add it directly to your home screen.

      • Fast and Efficient: PWAs are designed to be exceptionally fast and use less data than regular mobile apps.

      How to Install a PWA on Android

      1. Open Your Browser: Open Google Chrome or any other browser that supports PWAs.

      2. Visit the Website: Navigate to the website that offers a PWA : https://console.hijiffy.com

      3. Add to Home Screen:

      1. Once the website loads, tap on the browser’s menu (usually represented by three dots or a plus sign). You should see an option like “Add to Home Screen.” or “Install app” Tap it.

       


       

       

       
       

      4.Confirm the Addition:

      1. You might see a prompt asking if you want to add the app to your home screen. Confirm your choice.

       

       


       

       


       
       5. Access Your PWA: The icon of the website will now appear on your home screen, just like a regular app. You can tap it to open your PWA anytime.

      How to Install a PWA on iOS

      1. Open Safari: PWAs work best with Safari on iOS devices.

      2. Visit the Website: Type the URL, https://console.hijiffy.com of the PWA into the address bar of Safari and let the website load.

      3. Share Icon:

       

       
       

      1. Tap the Share icon (the square with an arrow pointing out of it at the bottom of the screen).

       

       


       

       

       
       

       

      4. Add to Home Screen:


       

       
       

      In the Share menu, scroll until you find the “Add to Home Screen” option and tap it.

       

       


       

       

       
       

       

      5. Name Your PWA:


       

       
       

      You can name your PWA (this name will appear beneath its icon on your home screen) and then tap “Add.”

       

       


       

       

       
       

       

      6. Use Your PWA: Like on Android, the PWA will appear as an icon on your home screen. Tap it whenever you want to use it.


      Push Notifications

      Normally the application after it open asks to allow enabling push notifications, but if it doesn’t follow these instructions.

       

      After the login to go to the console personal setting.

      Find the option browser notifications and click to disable and then enable again

       

      Instructions to allow notification will pop-up on both IOS and Android

       

       

       
       

      If you are not receiving notifications after enabling, try to close and open the application
